Designed by Specht Harpman Architects, built by Prutting and Company, and landscape designed by Gunn Landscape Architecture, this home was recently featured in the Feb. 2013 edition of Architectural Digest. With sleek contemporary lines, this project was a renovation of a 1950’s house which has a series of additions from the 60’s and 70’s. Nestled into a lush hilltop site, this house was designed to engage the landscape and immerse the occupants in the full range of environments that the site offers. With a u-shaped house, separate pool house and swimming pool, each element emphasizes the project’s strong lines and classically modern roots. A series of “outdoor rooms” provides additional social spaces and completes the linkage of each building on the property.
